Welcome to a fascinating trip in Hastinapur, my fellow travelers! I’m Raman, and I’m excited to lead you on this two-day educational trip across this historically and spiritually significant country. Join us as we explore the beautiful wonders of this ancient land, where every nook and cranny echoes with stories of the past and the peace of the present.
Day 1: Ashtapad, Jambudweep Jain Tirth, and Kailash Parvat
We began our vacation with a scenic 37-kilometer drive to Hastinapur. Our first stop was Ashtapad, a location with significant religious importance. A beautiful fusion of peace and family fun could be found among the mysticism, with delightful play spaces for kids and booths selling golgappas, tea, and ice cream. At Jambudweep Jain Tirth, a vibrant center bustling with a variety of people and alluring local fare, our spiritual journey continued. The day came to an end in Kailash Parvat, the location of the magnificent Bada Digambar Jain Mandir, where the tranquil atmosphere completely enthralled us.
Day 2: Pandeshwar Mahadev Temple and Bhai Dharam Singh Gurudwara
The second day began with a trip to the charming Bhai Dharam Singh Gurudwara at Saifpur, which is close to Hastinapur. The magnificent beauty of the Gurudwara and the comforting daily langar gave our journey a spiritual undertone. Later, surrounded by a beautiful environment, we explored the luscious Pandeshwar Mahadev Temple. During Shivratri, a special langar enhanced the temple’s spiritual vibe, offering an enlightening experience.
Accommodations:
We stayed in the Shri Digambar Jain Bahubali Nilay Yatree Dharamshala because it was both comfortable and affordable. It offered us a peaceful stay with accommodations starting at 450 INR per night, making sure we were well-rested for our activities.
