- Day 2: Visiting Kempty Falls, LBSNAA, and Lal Tibba
The next morning, our exploration began with a visit to the famous Kempty Falls. What made it even more interesting was the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), an IAS training center nearby. Feeling adventurous, we couldn’t resist trying the Skyline Zipline, a thrilling ride costing Rs. 400. Despite some initial nerves, the excitement and the unique experience made it a memorable highlight of our trip. Kempty Falls itself was a breathtaking display of nature, accompanied by other nearby waterfalls that gave us plenty of chances for unforgettable photos.
Excited for more adventures, we headed to Green Park, where scooters and cabs were available for rent. Choosing a scooter at a reasonable rate of Rs.700 for 12 hours, we provided our Aadhar and driving license details. This granted us the freedom to explore the scenic landscapes at our leisure. The delightful weather got us thinking about a possible return at year-end, dreaming of experiencing the enchanting beauty of snowfall.
Our adventure led us to Lal Tibba, a vantage point offering stunning views, especially on clear days when the skies were free of clouds. Using a telescope, we marveled at sights like Kedar Dham and the majestic Himalayan range in the distance. Wrapping up our exploration, we visited a popular restaurant known for its lively atmosphere and, of course, the mouthwatering brownie chocolate.
