Hello travel enthusiasts, Vishnu here !!!
If you’re looking for a retreat into nature’s embrace, where each moment is a celebration of life, Mussoorie is the go-to destination. In the lap of the Himalayas, my three-day adventure to Mussoorie unfolded, with Nature Heaven Lodge as my cosy retreat, offering peace at Rs. 1500 per night.
Breathtaking Vista from Lal Tibba Scenic Point and Mall Road :
I started my journey at Lal Tibba Scenic Point, where the breathtaking vista took my breath away. The Rs.50 ticket was a small price to pay for the awe-inspiring view from Mussoorie’s highest point. Lal Tibba is famous for its telescopic views of the Himalayan peaks. After a relaxing 2 km rickshaw ride from Nature Heaven Lodge, I arrived at this amazing place.
As the sun set, I took a leisurely walk along the charming Mall Road. With its lively shops and eateries, the street buzzed with activity. I treated myself to local street delights, savouring momos and a hot chai, fully immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of the evening.
Finding Peace at Bhatta Falls and Panoramic Views from Gun Hill:
On the second day, I explored the breathtaking Bhatta Falls, a hidden gem located in lush surroundings. The entrance fee was just Rs. 30, and a perfect view in a 5 km auto ride from Nature Heaven Lodge took me to this serene waterfall. Here, nature’s soothing melody echoed, creating a peaceful atmosphere.
The next stop on my itinerary was Gun Hill, reachable by car. The Rs. 75 ticket cost for the awe-inspiring views. After visiting Bhatta Falls, a quick 3 km train journey brought me to the base of Gun Hill. The bustling market around Gun Hill showcased various local crafts, and I treated myself to street delights like grilled corn and roasted peanuts.
Exploring the beautiful Kempty Waterfalls of Mussoorie :
On the last day, we saw the beauty of Kempty Falls, a stunning waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. The ticket to this natural marvel was Rs. 50. A scenic 10 km auto ride from Gun Hill brought me to the refreshing embrace of Kempty Falls.
