Salutations, fellow explorers! My name is Hitaksh Kashyap, and I’m excited to tell you the enthralling story of my recent trip to the fascinating regions of Manali and Shimla. Come along with me on this magical journey over the mountains, where each turn represents a new chapter in a tale of exploration, excitement, and pure joy.
Day 1: Shimla – Acknowledging Day and Night
We packed things like raincoats and warm clothes, making sure our expedition would start with careful planning. After purchasing tickets on MakeMyTrip, our group left Mugalsarai and took a train to New Delhi, where our dependable Zoomcar was waiting. We were excited yet tired when we arrived at Shimla late at night. The city greeted us with warmth despite the late hour. We spent the night in a nice hotel after being led about by the locals.
We set out into the heart of Shimla at the crack of dawn, visiting the fascinating Christ Shimla Mall Road. The images we took managed to capture the soul of the place, accompanied by nothing less than stunning landscapes. A trip to a well-known church brought some peace to our day. At a nearby restaurant, the native cuisine piqued our interest and provided us with energy for the hike to the majestic Shri Hanuman Mandir at Jakhu. We had such an amazing experience and an amazing day that we retired to our hotel before Mall Road beckoned again.
