We set off from Jaipur, heading towards Mussoorie, a beautiful hill station. Following NH48, we drove around 600 kilometres, passing through Roorkee and Dehradun. As we neared Mussoorie, the scenery transformed into misty hills. Also, the journey was a mix of thrills and peace, with lush landscapes and winding roads. Moreover, we spent around Rs. 8,000 on fuel for the round trip, depending on the vehicle’s efficiency and fuel prices.

Upon reaching Mussoorie, we immersed ourselves in the enchanting beauty of the Queen of Hills by exploring:
- Iconic Mall Road: At Mussoorie, the Mall Road is where all the action is! You’ll find a variety of treasures and souvenirs to explore. Also, from here, it’s easy to reach Gun Hill and Camel’s Back Road. Make sure to grab some cosy woollen clothes and beautiful Kashmiri shawls while you’re at it. If you’re into gaming or skating, there are plenty of places to enjoy those activities too.
- Gun Hill: At 2,024 metres, Gun Hill is Mussoorie’s second-highest peak, great for photographers and nature enthusiasts. Also, accessible by cable car, it offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including Srikantha, Bandarpunch, Pithwara, and Gangotri.
- Lal Tibba: At Lal Tibba point, Japanese telescopes give clear, panoramic views of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Bandarpunch, and more Himalayan ranges.

- We indulged in the gastronomic delights of Mussoorie. At Char Dukan, we sampled delicious Maggi (Rs. 50). At Kalsang Friends Corner, we enjoyed Momos (Rs. 100). And at Lovely Omelette Centre, we relished Bun Omelette (Rs. 60).
- For accommodation, we chose cosy homestays and boutique hotels. Prices ranged from Rs. 1500 to Rs. 5000 per night, depending on the location and amenities, all offering stunning views of the Himalayas and warm hospitality.
