A Scenic Adventure: Shimla and Manali, Route:
We travelled from Delhi to Shimla by car, which we booked through a travel agency. Also, the same car took us from Shimla to Manali.
Accommodation Suggestion in Manali:
We stayed at the Moonlight Hotel in Manali, and it was really nice and comfortable. Also, the food there was good, and the staff service was also great. If you’re looking for something to eat, I’d recommend trying the famous Siddu at the local cafes in Manali and Maggie when you’re in Koksar.
Shimla’s Food Delights: Adventures Await in the Queen of Hills
As soon as we reached Shimla, we visited Mall Road, famous for its street shopping and local food. We also went to the most famous bakery in Shimla, Trishool Bakers. Moreover, the bakery was amazing, with a variety of pastries, beverages, and snacks.
Likewise, I tried their famous brownies and hot chocolate, which were delicious. We then took a stroll on Mall Road, did some shopping at the local stores, and clicked many pictures. After that, we went to our hotel. Also, the hotel had recently opened, and it was quite good and comfortable. The dinner was good too.
Whispers in the Pines: Discovering the Soul of Manali
The next day, we left for Manali around 10 a.m. We saw many beautiful spots on the way and took pictures. After 7 hours, we reached Manali. We quickly got ready at our hotel and were eager to explore the town.
Places to visit in Manali:
- Hadimba temple: We first visited the Hadimba temple, a very beautiful and heritage-rich place. Also, there was a garden near the temple; we wandered there. The garden was full of tall trees; it just looked beautiful.
- Mall Road: After spending some time there, we went to the Mall Road at Manali, did some street shopping, and tried their famous Siddu at a local cafe, and it was just amazing.
- Koksar: The next day, we went to Koksar. It was so cold at the heights that we had to hire clothes from a local store. When we reached there, the place was covered in snow and looked mesmerising. Also, we had a great time, enjoying ourselves to the fullest. We also had Maggie, fried rice, and tea at a local store there.
- Waterfall: On the third day, we explored the local areas near our hotel. We found a small waterfall nearby and decided to visit it.
Ideal Seasons for Shimla and Manali Exploration:
The best time to travel to Shimla and Manali is from November to February. Don’t forget to pack warm clothes for this period. If you want to experience snow, it’s best to visit in late January or February.
