Hey there, fellow travelers! I’m Pratham Srivastava, a travel freak who’s always on the lookout for exciting adventures. Today, I’m here to share an incredible 5-day journey from Varanasi to Delhi, the capital of India. So, let’s dive into this travel story and discover the magic of Delhi through my lens.
Get ready for a thrilling tale, folks! Picture this: I have passed my class 12th, and I dropped upon my true career—filmmaking and crafting mesmerizing travel mini vlogs. I own an Instagram Page that has REELS of travel and this time it was encouraging me to explore the vibrant streets of Delhi (Capital of India ). Dude, it was an absolute whirlwind of a trip, you know- A 5-day adventure in the heart of Delhi, and, let me tell you, it was a non-stop, action-packed party.
Day 1- A grand welcome to the Capital of India, Delhi:
The journey began with the vibrant buzz of Delhi. I hopped on the metro and headed straight to Connaught Place. The bustling atmosphere, the aroma of coffee, and the endless hustle-bustle were a clear indication – “This is Delhi!” I sipped on coffee at one of the cafes, relishing a Starbucks-like experience, observed the city’s vibrant life, and thought, “Yeh hai Dilli ka jadoo!”.
Day 2 – Historical Dilli:
On the second day, I immersed myself in Delhi’s rich history. I explored iconic landmarks such as the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, and Chandni Chowk. The street food in Chandni Chowk was a revelation, and I couldn’t resist trying Kuremal Mohan Lal Kulfi. As night fell, I marveled at the stunning lights of India Gate – a sight to behold.
Day 3 – Artistic Day at Hauz Khas:
The following day was all about art and culture. Hauz Khas Village attracted me with its art galleries, a leisurely walk in Deer Park, and the vibrant ambiance of Hauz Khas Village. The place has a youthful vibe, making it a fantastic spot to explore.
Day 4 – Shop-till-you-drop in Sarojini Nagar:
With shopping on the agenda, I headed to Sarojini Nagar. The fashion street vibes were irresistible, and I snagged trendy clothes and fantastic deals. Of course, a little bargaining is a must in the lively streets of Delhi.
Day 5 – Say goodbye to Delhi and back to Varanasi:
As the adventure concluded, I boarded the Shiv Ganga train to return to my beloved city, Varanasi. This journey was a whirlwind of fun, history, art, and shopping – a perfect Delhi experience.
