Places to Visit in Himachal Pradesh: Adventure Awaits
- Shimla:
Our adventure in Himachal started in Shimla, where we graced the stage of the Gaiety Theatre. Shimla’s delightful temples and majestic library enchanted us before we embarked on our journey to Spiti Valley via Nako village.

- Nako village:
This village greeted us with a chilly breeze, guiding us to the Gue Monastery. There, amidst its ancient vibes, we were captivated by the fascinating mummy of Sangha Tenzin.

- Pin Valley:
As we explored Pin Valley, the rain turned our homestay into a haven. Our hosts treated us like family. In the quiet of the night, we were woken to see the stunning Milky Way, filling us with wonder at the vastness of the universe.

- Solang Valley:
In Solang Valley, near Manali, our adventure soared to new heights. We tackled exciting river rafting, which cost around Rs. 1000 per person. We climbed a little mountain, some of us with cool car-like gadgets, while others flew above with paragliding, for which I was too afraid to try. But while we were having fun, we found this amazing food: Chaumin. It’s a local street food, and we couldn’t stop eating it. We savoured it at every stop, rating its taste and texture.

- Key Monastery:
During our visit to the Key Monastery, we found a cosy café run by a couple who adored the mountains. They shared fascinating stories that enriched our trip.
- Mall Road market:
As we headed back to Manali, we ended our journey at the lively Mall Road market, where we discovered souvenirs to remember our adventure by.
Even with limitations like limited public restrooms for women and long travels, our journey gave us a deep bond with nature. It wasn’t just a tour for performances; it became a voyage of exploration and genuine connections.
Pro tip: Avoid overspending and instead pick destinations wisely. Take your time to enjoy and fully experience each place you visit.
After all the fun, we headed back to Manali. There, we explored the amazing Mall Road market, finding souvenirs and gifts for everyone back home. Finally, our adventure wrapped up with a trip back to Delhi and then to Surat.
