Hello folks, Chandani this side!!! So recently, I had the most relaxing and fun trip with my friends to Kasol. Folded away in Himachal Pradesh’s peaceful Parvati Valley, Kasol isn’t just a place to visit; it’s a journey that captivates the heart and fuels the adventurous soul.
How to reach the popular tourist destination Kasol?
Starting on an adventure trip, we took a Redbus from Delhi to Kasol with two friends. Departing at 9 p.m. from Kashmere Gate, we arrived near Shani Temple in Kasol at 8 a.m., after a 12-hour journey. The bus fare was around Rs. 1000 per person.
Budget-friendly option in Kasol for a lovely experience:
Upon arriving at our pre-booked accommodation, Chalo Kasol Huts & Camps, we were greeted by a variety of lodging options, including cosy wooden cottages and tents. Also, we opted for a wooden cottage booked via Airbnb at a rate of Rs. 5,000 per day, with a check-in time of 11 AM. Moreover, the enchanting riverside ambience and breakfast set the perfect tone for our stay. To our delight, we were treated to a snowfall that transformed the landscape into a winter wonderland.
3 days of blissful retreats in Kasol:
- Day 1: Enjoying the peaceful vibes of Chalo Kasol Huts and Camps
On the first day, we had a blast at our cottage! We soaked in the peaceful vibes, gathered around a cosy bonfire, and danced the night away with a fun DJ. To add adventure to the trip, my friends got some hash from local sellers, making the evening even more thrilling.
- Day 2: Started our trek to Chalal Village
We started on a trek towards Chalal Village, crossing the Parvati River via a scenic bridge. Our day was filled with adventure, with us indulging in the charm of Chalal and relishing breakfast at the renowned ATS Cafe. Now, our next stop was Kasol Market, but before that, we had a leisurely lunch at Perk Up Hostels. Also, in Kasol Market, we shopped for some affordable winter wear and souvenirs.
After having a great time shopping, we started looking for good cafes for dinner. We stopped by the famous Moon Dance Cafe, though it didn’t quite live up to our expectations. Just after having a wholesome dinner, we set back to our hotel from the cab.
- Day 3: A wonderful exploration of Manikaran and Tosh
We hired a car to visit Manikaran, the therapeutic hot springs, before proceeding to Tosh, equipped with rented boots and umbrellas to brace for snowfall. At Tosh, we enjoyed beautiful views and climbing. Also, we loved the peaceful village and hot Maggi. As snow fell, we soaked up the calm before catching the 9 p.m. bus back to Delhi.
